Botanica on the Green is a 234 unit development overlooking Stapleton's Founder's Green. The apartment buildings, at 34 D.U's per acre, were designed by Thomas Cox Architects of Irvine, California to create a strong urban edge along the south edge of Founder's Green and the adjacent streets. All residents are afforded private outdoor patios or balcony space as well as access to common interior courtyards. The landscape architecture component creates an inviting urban garden ambience both at streetside and within the common courtyard spaces. Each of the three courtyards features a unique set of focal amenities and intimate gathering spaces, providing numerous opportunities for social interaction and outdoor enjoyment. Within each courtyard, signature focal amenities such as a large hot tub, outdoor fireplace, children’s play garden, and a classical fountain have been integrated into a formal, urban garden setting with delightful results. The gardens also serve as water quality features by filtering storm runoff from adjacent parking and rooftops prior to entering the storm sewer.
