Designed as the focal open space within the Village of Five Park's Haskin Park neighborhood, Haskin Park serves as a treasured neighborhood commons. A focal garden pavilion and classical fountain anchor the park's small arboretum and formal garden. Situated in the no-maintenance, "Lifestyle" neighborhood at Five Parks, where the majority of residents are mature, "move-down" buyers, the concept was to invite relaxing strolls through the park, neighborly visits, and quiet contemplation. Whether listening to the soothing splash of the classical fountain or studying the hundreds of trees and perennials highlighted with botanical plaques throughout the park, residents have embraced their beautiful park as a wonderful benefit of life at Five Parks.
The Village of Five Parks has won numerous design awards since opening for home sales in 2002. Notably, the National Association of Home Builders honored Five Parks with their "Best Landscape" award for the Rocky Mountain region in 2003. In addition, the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Home Builders has named Five Parks as "Best New Community" three years running, in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
